After spending many years painting and learning from others, I am now keen to share my knowledge and, in the process, also keep learning from others through interactive workshops. The art workshops are aimed at either Beginner or Intermediate artists and follow a predefined structure with specific objectives for each workshop.  Specifically structured workshop for unique /corporate needs can also be discussed and considered.

Workshops for Beginners: 

No previous experience is needed, and all equipment is provided.  The aim is to have fun and, in the end, to complete at least 1 painting to take home to evidence your new skills to family and friends. And hopefully to motivate some of you to keep painting! A workshop is set over 2 days and covers the basics of all the materials needed to paint in both acrylic and oil, to learning some basic painting techniques and discuss some relevant art theory. The workshop includes all paints and other material requirements for the workshop, snacks and light lunches, as well as a decent frame to showcase your artwork. Some workshops may also include accommodation.

Workshops for Intermediate artist: 

The aim is to take your painting skills to the next level and create a solid foundation for you to produce decent paintings on a regular basis. While a lot of time is spent painting, more focus is on improvement planning and painting technique, as well as more of the critical aspects of making one a successful artist. Depending on the audience, these workshops could even be over 3 days. Similar to the Beginners workshop, it includes all the basic materials, snacks, etc.

Again, to note that you don't need any experience.  If you just want to have a bit of fun, see if painting is for you, or want to improve your existing painting skills, this workshop is for you! All the painting material you will need will also be provided and is included.

Planning of Beginner workshops, some also in partnership with COUNTRY HOTELS and their partners, are in an advanced stage.   Dates will be finalised shortly.
